Mom & Stretch — Gentle Dance Stretch for Moms

Join Bellydance Collective BC at Solace Wellness Collective for a gentle morning movement class created especially for local moms.

This intimate, small-group class combines gentle stretching, dance-inspired movement, mobility and light toning techniques to help you reconnect with your body, release tension and build strength and stamina for the demands of everyday life.

No dance experience is needed. The movements are approachable and adaptable, with a focus on moving safely and comfortably rather than performance. Come as you are, take an hour for yourself, and start your day feeling stretched, energized and refreshed.

Day: Tuesdays, October 13 - December 15 (note that there is no class on October 20)


Time: 10:00am – 11:00am


Location: Solace Wellness Collective, 203–12165 Harris Rd., Pitt Meadows


Capacity: 6–8 participants


Who: Local moms; all movement and dance levels welcome

Your Facilitators: Juliana Popovich & Stephanie Cushing

Juliana Popovich is a professional Bellydance instructor and performer and the founder of Bellydance Collective BC and Dance with Juliana Online School. She has been teaching and performing since 2006 and was awarded 2nd Place in Folklore Raqs Sharqi at India Festival 2020. She currently teaches throughout the Tri-Cities and online and continues to perform internationally.

In her Mom & Stretch program, Juliana combines elements of bellydance, gentle stretching, body isolations, mobility, conditioning, and musical movement to help women reconnect with their bodies, improve flexibility and coordination, and build strength and stamina in an enjoyable and approachable way.


Stephanie Cushing is a professional vaudeville performer and founder of Cirque des Morts Vaudeville Society. Making her way through the bustling streets and vibrant lights of the entertainment district, Stephanie is a familiar face on stage. As a vaudeville performer entertaining audiences of all ages, she captivates with a mix of strength, power, and sensuality.

Stephanie’s lifelong ambition was to establish her own circus and sideshow. In 2023, she fulfilled this dream by becoming a founding member of the Cirque des Morts Vaudeville Society and in 2026 has opened her own circus and performance arts academy: Cirque Academy.
