"Open” Prenatal Yoga with Ashtiika

Join us for Open Prenatal—a gentle movement and breath based practice with hypnobirthing techniques, to softly open for birth.  This nurturing space emphasizes relaxation, connection, comfort, and ease. Together, we relieve our body of common pregnancy discomforts, lovingly prepare our body and mind for birth, and build trust in our body's  own innate wisdom. We open and close our practice with a hypnobirthing style meditation, resting in supported positions using a yoga bolster and other props for our comfort. 

Our movement portion is a combination of self massage, gentle strengthening practices, therapeutic movement, and easeful stretching. Pelvic floor awareness and gentle guided breathing is offered throughout, while practicing mindful posture and healthy alignment.  Our sequence is naturally slower paced, making it easier to adapt and modify as needed.

We share tea and relate with one another, creating a supportive environment to connect with your baby, your body, and other mothers. All prenatal stages are welcome.

Your Facilitator - Ashtiika

Hi! I'm Ashtiika. I'm a nature lover and a homeschooling mama with a playful spirit and an open heart. I believe we all carry everything we need within us, and it is an honor to support others in connecting with their own innate wisdom and trust in themselves. 

With five years of experience as a clinical hypnotherapist and peaceful pregnancy practitioner (similar to hypnobirthing), alongside a background in somatic coaching, breathwork, and sound healing. Combined with ten years of therapeutic yoga and training in anatomy and biomechanics, I have woven these passions together to create a comforting and empowering space for healing & self care. 

To me, healing isn't about fixing or changing anything; it's about welcoming what wants to be felt. My wish for you is to feel the compassion in this space so that you can extend that same compassion toward yourself. When we slow down, relax, and feel with compassion, we create the right environment for healing to naturally take place, without any force. It is a beautiful process of allowing, and I am deeply grateful to hold this space for you as you soften into presence and let healing unfold.
