Annamaria created a 6-week yoga curriculum tailored specifically for teen girls (ages 12–17). It blends physical movement with philosophy, journal reflection, and accessible meditation practices designed to resonate with teenage life—stress management, self-expression, body awareness, and social connection.

Students will receive an eco-friendly, sustainable yoga mat made from non-toxic materials (valued at $60). Designed specifically for beginners, the mat helps support proper alignment and confidence in their practice. Made from natural cork, it is soft, gentle, durable, and easy to care for.

What to bring to each class:

  • Water bottle

  • Journal & pen

  • An open mind

Cost: $195, payable by e-transfer

Facilitator: Annamaria, Wise Monkey Wellness & Yoga

Before pursuing health and wellness, I worked as a bank Account Manager and proudly spent years and currently as a military spouse and raising my three children. As they entered school, I turned my lifelong passion for holistic living into my calling.

I am a certified 200-hour Yoga Teacher with additional certifications in Cupping Therapy (Ontario College of TCM), Yoga Nidra, Yin Yoga, Chair Yoga, Kid’s Yoga, and Levels 1 & 2 Sound Healing. Living with chronic migraines for over 18 years led me through countless medical consultations until I discovered that yoga, meditation, and TCM offered real, transformative relief. Today, I collaborate with local studios to offer Cupping, Sound Journeys, and Yoga events—helping others improve their physical and mental wellbeing.

When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me baking for loved ones, reading with a cup of herbal tea, or practicing yoga by local rivers and beaches.
