Welcome to Root and Rise, as you become rooted in motherhood, let's rise together in this communiTEA. 

This mama-centric yoga and wellness series is a space for mothers in all seasons of motherhood, whether your child is tiny or fully grown. This is a raw, “everything goes” space to be seen and heard while also nourishing your body through yoga based movement.

The series blends check-ins, communiTEA, and collective intentions with breath-focused movement, helping you reconnect with your body and sensations often overlooked.

Expect foundational and progressive yoga practices that build community, switch off mom brain, and create space for connection—with yourself and others while participating in some joyful and intentional movement. 

You’ll leave this space feeling rooted in motherhood and rising to this expansive version of yourself.  

What to bring to each class: 

  • A yoga mat

  • Blocks if you have them

  • A blanket (aka knee protector)

  • A mug for tea (herbal options available or bring your own).

  • ny other comforts you would like 

A bonus note ~ the building is older and doesn’t have an elevator so you will have to climb a set of stairs. Great to support your shifting pelvis! 

Cancellation & Attendance Policy ♡

Thank you for choosing to be part of this yoga and wellness series. These gatherings are intentionally kept small and community-centered to create a supportive space for every mama attending.

To honor both your commitment and the preparation that goes into each series, please read the following policy:

  • Full payment is required upfront to reserve your spot in the series.

  • If you need to cancel your registration, at least 7 days notice before the series start date is required to receive a refund or credit.

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the series start date are non-refundable, as your space has been specifically held for you.

  • Once the series has begun, refunds or credits will not be offered for missed classes, scheduling conflicts, illness, or changes in availability.

  • If you are unable to attend a class, you are welcome to reconnect with the practices at home through any shared notes, recordings, or reflections (if provided).

This policy helps support the sustainability of these offerings while honoring the energy, planning, and care that goes into creating each series.

Facilitator: Sky of Sky Yoga & Wellness

I’m Sky—a simple soul walking her path through life’s many twists and turns. My journey hasn’t been linear, but along the way I’ve come to trust that while life offers no fixed formula, it does offer tools to help us navigate and find our way. Before creating this space, I spent years exploring the depths of the human experience—working alongside the dying, witnessing resilience in its many forms in mental health,, and studying the connections that shape our lives. Combine my lived experiences and schooling with becoming a mother during uncertain times deepened what I had always craved: true community.

Today, through Sky Yoga & Wellness, I create holistic, community-centered spaces for women—especially through pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond—blending movement, breathwork, and nourishment with meaningful conversation and intention. My background includes degrees in Anthropology and Psychology, a 500-hour Tantric Hatha Yoga and Meditation certification, additional training in prenatal, baby & me, mobility, and children’s yoga, as well as certification as a Holistic Nutritionist.

Through this blend of experience, movement, and nourishment, I create gathering spaces where women can connect, move, and grow together. A circular communiTEA where you can Bloom, Bond, Nest, Root, Rise, and Gather—always with a warm cup of herbal tea.
